Cinema takes to the streets. Literally. For the opening night of Bref Short International Film Festival, the German collective A Wall is a Screen transforms Aosta into an open-air theatre, with screenings spread throughout the city streets. Starting from the Agorà , the route unfolds film after film, wall after wall.
A Wall is a Screen is a unique project that for over 20 years has
used the nighttime to illuminate cities through itinerant cinematic
experiences. Based in Hamburg, the collective turns walls and
urban surfaces into screens, creating viewing paths that invite
audiences to (re)discover public spaces through short film.
